"We had an absolutely fantastic stay at the Doubletree OHare for our anniversary weekend. They graciously upgraded us to a corner room so we had plenty of space & sunlight, an amazing view of the airplanes taking off from OHare, and beautiful sunsets from the west. Seeing the fireworks (after the concert on the lawn nearby) from our room was a special surprise. The warm chocolate chip cookies upon our welcome were a real treat (as were the extra ones we requested each time we passed through the lobby ;) ). A full-service bar/ lounge and restaurant is available to guests and friends. The breakfast buffet is excellent (lots of tasty choices) and reasonably priced. Call ahead to see what they offer during the week. The adjacent Morton Steakhouse is accessible through the lobby as well as outside. They offer valet service for patrons of the restaurant and/ or hotel. Self-parking in the deck was easy ($20 flat rate for up to 24 hours for which you can pay online). Level 2 has an indoor elevated walkway from the deck to the hotel's 2nd floor (luggage carts are available in the lobby at the concierge desk). A 24-hour convenience nook is available for personal necessities, grab-n-go foods/ snacks/ drinks and cans or bottles for a relaxing night cap. Starbucks is located near the bar and serves a limited menu of coffees, teas, carbs, and non-caffenated drinks. It's perfect before you head over to the Convention Center or hopping on the free shuttle to the airport or shop"

"Overall, this hotel is okay for a one-night stay, but I would not recommend it for a longer stay. The biggest issue was the room cleanliness. We found hair in the room and in other areas, and the floors and sofas did not appear to be well maintained. Housekeeping standards could definitely be improved. The airport shuttle was also a big disappointment for me. The experience was quite disorganized and did not meet my expectations. On the positive side, the breakfast was decent and offered enough options to start the day. There are also a few food options near the hotel, which was convenient. Overall, it served its purpose for a short overnight stay, but there is not much to enjoy within the hotel itself, and the cleanliness and shuttle service need significant improvement."
