"This is a fantastic hotel, looks beautiful.... The rooms are massive. You have a sitting room that is easily the size of a normal hotel room and then you have your main room and large bathroom. Fabulous room size. The hotels 115 years old, so some of it looks old because it is and then there are other parts that have been modernised. The pool is lovely. Breakfast is fantastic. You've got to get homemade omelette. They are brilliant.... Portland doesn't have the best reputation for safety with some homeless around, we never had a problem even walking around in there early evening.... Security on site so you won't have a problem in the hotel. Car parking can be a little hard to find, I would recommend getting an undercover car park just for safety and securing your vehicle."
