“I’ve never stayed in a more outdated, broken room. The mattress was horrible. We weren’t able to sleep. I don’t think it has ever been changed since the opening. The toilet seat had a crack and the entire bathroom was dirty and unkept. Avoid this place like the plague. The curtains were falling apart and were held up with zip ties. Everything was just old and over used.”

You can bring food to grill yourself or eat at the restaurant on their lovely patio - we did both. The complementary breakfast on Saturday and Sundays is lovely as well. The lodge was originally built in the 60s and the rooms are a bit tight but they work!”

“We loved our stay, all went pretty much smooth except for little miscommunication during the check-in; the towels were soft and fresh, room smelled nicely and property well maintained. “We stayed at Mountain Brook Lodge for two nights, and our experience was excellent. The lodge has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The rooms were clean, well-maintained, and cozy. It's conveniently located just about 20 minutes from Lake Placid and is close to all the major attractions in the area. Parking is available right outside your room, which is very convenient. They also offer connecting rooms, making it a great choice for larger families or groups traveling together.”
