“We had a room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. The room was spacious enough and very comfortable, and the hotel’s location in Ipanema is absolutely perfect. “The Atlantis hotel is in need of renovation, as it looks very outdated. Breakfast was decent, but nothing special. The male staff members at the reception were consistently unfriendly and unwelcoming. The hotel needs staff who genuinely understand the importance of hospitality and guest service, which was clearly lacking during my stay. Finally, the hotel is significantly overpriced for the quality of its facilities and the level of service it provides.”

“Starting with the great location, which gives you easy access to restaurants and beaches in Ipanema and Copacabana. Also, the attention and communication from the host were awesome. “My wife stayed here for her stay in Rio de Janeiro. She liked the place, but she thought it wasn’t her style. It seemed like a bunch of young people trying to hook up. “Did not like the fact that I sent an email explaining that my flight was cancel 18 hours prior to schedule arrival to the hotel. However, I was still charge for that day and was told to take it up with the airline. Upon entering the room it was not service. The bathroom was not cleaning, the soap dishes and commode were dirty. The green blanket on the bed was also dirty. However, my second night in the room the blanket was removed and replace with a clean one.”
