"Simply a fantastic place to stay! It was clean, a good price and the area was fantastic. My brother and I were attending the SEMO vs SIU game and could not find a place anywhere near Carbondale. Glad we didn't. It was perfect! It had everything we needed an more. The location was great with plenty of places to eat. We will book this place the next time we are in the area."

Absolutely perfect. Quick one night stay. Couldn’t ask for a better overall experience. From the cleanliness, prompt and courteous front desk check-in, clean, quiet, comfortable room with very large big screen TV, fast internet, single cup coffee maker, good quiet heater/AC unit. Lots of stores and places to eat nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay at Fairfield Inn was a quick but pleasant stay. During our visit to Marion we were under the weather with a cold. Our housekeeper must have noticed our vitamin C and medicine to help because she (Desiree) even left us an extra box of Kleenex. As small a gesture as it was, it was a very sweet one! I would recommend anyone staying in the area to stay here.

We were unable to and were both exhausted so we thought we would talk to the staff! SO friendly. They let us look at our room before we even checked in. It was not fancy, but immaculate clean! We were traveling and just wanted a clean, quiet place to stay for the night! And that’s exactly what we got!

Everything was good until my car didn’t get fixed on time so I asked to stay an hour after check out time at 11 and the person(Man) I talk to said YES THAT WAS FINE. So when I’m leaving a lady said to me “NEXT TIME NO STAYING LONGER THEN CHECK OUT TIME” I told her I had an agreement with someone else already who works there also & then said with an ATTITUDE “THAT DOES NOT MATTER” She was extremely rude and definitely doesn’t know the situation between me and the other worker

Hey the pool was open and the fitness room was open that was nice for a change it's funny how everybody can sit around and eat breakfast together but they can't go in a pool where there are 20 feet apart or Fitness room where there is usually only one person in there at a time
