“The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and there were both hot and on the go options to choose from. The hotel is walking distance to the main shopping area and beach with a grocery store just steps away but there is no fridge in the room so take advantage of the good restaurants near by for meals.”

“Not ideal for a family at all, more like for single men with low standards. The room and beds (with the 4 beds normally for a family) were clean and tidy but this hostel doesn't have ac just a cheap fan that works but is noisy. It's not a charming or asthetically pleasing place at all. The hall floors are old and dirty and the walls were simply painted over just to give it the "clean" look. The staff is nice but he also stood at the gate not letting us in until he confirmed we booked the place……

“Fantastic hotel and location. Right on a great square with street performers and cafes. Male staff were incredibly helpful. For some reason, the female staff were really rude, especially to my wife and daughter. I don’t know if this was because we didn’t speak Portuguese, but they seemed irritated at us and did not seem to want to answer questions.”
