Upon learning we hadn’t, he immediately invited us to a special “welcome breakfast” with a member of the staff, the following morning. He said he needed 20 usd per couple to reserve the invitation. We agreed and scheduled to meet at 8:30 the next morning. In the morning, we arrived, meet with the manager at the desk, received our deposit money, and were escorted to the breakfast buffet by a young fellow. Unfortunately the small talk turned into a timeshare pitch. Can’t believe this is still a thing. If you play along and listen until the end, you’re rewarded with some “Monopoly money”. We found out (the hard way) that it really isn’t worth a tinker’s dam. The food and drinks are pretty good as are the pools and beach (beware of wild animals).
