“Very nice place”

“We had a great one night stay. The breakfast in the morning was incredible and lovely in the beautiful sun room. It was a perfect place to stay as we made our way through the highlands and pitlochry.”

“For us this was the perfect place to explore family heritage in a beautiful area of Scotland. We enjoyed hiking on or near the property. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the staff were always very helpful, our meals and drinks in onsite restaurants were great! We are very positive about this hotel!!!”

“Beautiful spa hotel with all the amenities you could want for a leisurely vacation. Conveniently located between Edinburgh and Inverness to explore this region of the Highlands. The property is set along the Loch’s edge and offers direct access to miles of well maintained trails.”

“The hotel doesn’t have an elevator. I stayed on the first floor. Actually, there is a corridor between the first floor and the carpark with a few steps only. However, the receptionist didn’t told me about that. She simply told me to carry the luggages through the normal entrance and go up one floor “ONLY” . No help had been offered and she clearly knew I got a car. Nowadays, it is not usual asking the lady customers to carry the luggages going upstairs ”

“Great staff, location good to walk the town big choice for breakfast, I booked the single room it was quite small, bed was ok hotel is dated in some sections and upgraded in other parts. Bar didn’t have much of a vibe in my opinion. Lots of shopping and various pubs and restaurants to choose from.”

“The property was beautiful but a little of town. Very limited taxi/cabs available therefore one has to ensure that they are organized and pre-book transportation. The staff was extremely accommodating and very polite and helpful”

“Our whole family loved our stay here. The food and restaurant were charming. The surrounding country was beautiful and peaceful. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. Would definitely stay here again.”

“There was no signage for the car park as it was through a narrow gap behind the hotel. I was given the key to the room, which I was told was through a door to the right of reception. On going through the door I found I was outside in the poring rain with again no signage. I went back into the hotel and found a lovely lady who was cleaning, who I asked where room 225 was. She took me back outside and showed me my room was in the wooden single story building opposite, the entrances to these……

“Not our normal sort of place to stay but ideal for our circumstances. Lovely facilities and folk staying at the same time. Good self catering shared kitchen though only as we left did we tumble to the fact that Helen had provided some communal consumables in the kitchen - our loss.”
