"We loved the property and once we got sorted out about being able to bring our dogs everything was great. The area is lovely and the fenced yard was a plus. The house was comfortably furnished and well stocked. Eclipse day was cloudy but we were able to get views from the back yard. We used extra days to explore some natural areas, awesome and I got to hang out with both my sons and DIL in a roomy house on a beautiful lake."

"We had a very good stay. The house was as described and quite clean. The location was perfect! I agree with another review about one of the beds being noisy. A few suggestions: more bath towels and perhaps a binder explaining how to use the Roku TV setup, and internet, and mention nearby activities. We had a very nice time enjoying the views of the lake and saw many birds and bunnies. Thank you."

"The house was very spacious for our group that stayed for a long weekend. We had plenty of room for everyone for dinner and hang out. The view from the house was beautiful and relaxing. The house is set off by itself so it was very peaceful and quiet! It was an older home and could use some updates but we were extremely happy with our time there. The stairs in the house were very narrow but there are rooms both upstairs and downstairs to accommodate people. Would stay again!"

"We stayed here during our Fall Break. We had come from a family wedding in NYC and my high schooler wanted to do a tour of Syracuse University. This was the perfect spot. Close to university and very relaxing after the rush of the city. I enjoyed waking up and watching the fish jump and the birds flying. The weather was not cooperative and we did not get outside much, but we did enjoy walking out on the dock."

"This house was perfect for us! A water view from every window of the house, and near the end of a dead-end road so it was very quiet. A well equipped kitchen for cooking, the room darkening shades were great for sleeping and could be fully lifted to let in the sunlight and nature views. "We loved our stay for a long weekend getaway. The house layout and size was great for 4 adults, 2 kids, and 2 dogs. Having a fenced in yard to not worry about the kids and dogs was wonderful (do check for gaps in the bottom of the fence as my 83 pound golden found a spot to wiggle through.) The location was very convenient to town and accessing the other lakes and attractions. One quirk to note, the water in the tub faucet is reveresed. It is adorable, tastefully decorated, beds/furniture are comfortable, and sitting around the fire after touring colleges in the rain was a perfect way to end our day.
