Separate lock of entrance. No Stairs. Secure and easy self check-in is available. This beautifully decorated upscale getaway occupies what is best described as a converted walkout basement. Situated on an acre with a seasonal creek and adjoining wooded open space. Arguably the closest wooded lot to downtown Denver.

If you have any questions while staying with us be sure to ask. We want each of our guests to have an amazing experience. We want you to have a luxury experience rivaling an upscale boutique hotel.

Red Rocks. Lot's of folks ask about Red Rocks. This unit is close. I have Red Rock tips for a great experience. Ask me about secret parking spot and you can be home in 20 minutes.

Worth noting:
1) The floor above you is occupied. Expect some 1950's floor creaking personality from footsteps & other muffled noises. Similar to hotel noises but definitely worth the luxury feel and all the other features.
2) This unit does not have a true full kitchen. You have a full sized refrigerator. Microwave. Toaster oven, induction cook-top, large sink, all the utensils, pots, plates, glasses forks. It should meet your needs unless you want to cook a full gourmet meal.

Perfect Location, Very Comfortable

Amazing - Fun & Relaxing Stay!!

The owner was great - making sure everything was set for when we arrived. The place was gorgeous and so cozy!! Loved the fireplace and more. Great location - easy to get everywhere. I would love to stay here again!

Checking off visiting Red Rocks from our bucket list we were thrilled to find a cozy, comfy place only 15 minutes away. The beds were very comfortable and the steam/shower wonderful! Loved having access to fridge, washer/dryer, portable cooktop and coffee maker. Thank you John for providing a great place.

Super cozy, clean, great location!

Our recent stay was just right! Couldn't ask for a more accommodating and friendly property owner. We came to Colorado for a short weekend visit and our stay couldn't have been more pleasant and cozy! The home is located in just the right spot and is just a hop skip from many places around town. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning! Highly recommend this rental: safe, clean, nice area of town, super cozy and super host/property owner! Thank you John for providing us with such a nice place to stay for our Denver adventure :)

Great place for a long weekend getaway near Red Rocks!

The place was everything we expected with the pictures in the listing. Comfortable kink size bed, super soft carpet, furniture etc. John our host was terrific, responded quickly to any questions we had. The kitchenette worked for our needs on this short trip - microwave, hot plate, and toaster oven - with a shared full size refrigerator in the garage a few steps away. We would not hesitate to book again!

Comfortable, Clean and Classy

A fabulous, roomy basement apartment with lots of light and a glorious steam shower! The "lack" of a full size kitchen is not an issue as this apartment has several other options to make up for the lack of a full size stove and oven, we had no issues cooking and enjoyed our coffees and breakfast by the warmth of the easy to use fireplace. Great location and host with quick and easy access to the greater Denver area. Would stay here again and highly recommend this rental.

Great location!

Nice host, very accommodating! Just be aware that there is no AC. It was 97 degrees outside, 80 inside and we were given an extra fan, but it didn’t do much. Also, the kitchen is pretty bare, so don’t plan on making a lot of meals in the microwave. Overall a good place to stay!

First time in Denver for show at Red Rocks

This was a good place location wise to stay my first time in Denver to go to Red Rocks. Good: easy to get around, well done manual, clean, well done remodeled basement apartment. Not so good: We had a little delay in check-in because we never received the instructions from the owner as stated. That being said, once we called him he was very responsive. It is a basement apartment, so if you are sensitive to noise this might not be the place for you. I didn't mind the people upstairs, but my friend had a hard time sleeping with people above our unit. The risk for noise is very clearly stated in the property description about the noise, so just something to note for yourself. Also, our last night power in half the unit went out, so we didn't have extra heat to the bedrooms. Overall, I would stay again, but my friend said she wouldn't.

Quirky and Well Located

Very interesting property, very unique and as such, not without it's issues. Most can be resolved by updating the existing welcome guide, which, while comprehensive, is dated. John was quick to answer questions. As other reviews stated, it is in a basement, and the house carries a lot of sound. Any movement in the main house is amplified in the basement. It is also cold, and Alexa was not around to help. It took us a while to figure out what the space heaters were, and when we did, the efficacy was debatable. We had the misfortune of having to work through some of our vacation, and the WiFi was very fast when it worked, but our connections dropped constantly. It is a really cool space overall, and I'd consider it under different circumstances, but as a getaway for two it didn't really work in it's current state.

Very clean, comfortable and accommodating in a pleasant, attractive neighborhood. Large, modern kitchen, well stocked with coffee, tea and condiments. Comfortable king size bed. Large ten seat dining area. Inviting back yard. Attentive owner.

Fantastic place to stay for a Denver/Mountain vacation. Close to downtown and Red Rocks with easy access to points West. John is a gracious host and all of his recommendations are on point. Relaxing stay close to the city

Close to the city but quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed our stay in this cute 2 bedroom suite. Check-in and out were simple and contactless. The steam shower was amazing once we figired it out. Lots of lounge space for relaxing after exploring the metro area. Would stay here again.

Great house and John is an amazing property owner. The communication was excellent. We came here for a concert at Red Rocks and this house was in a convenient place to get there. Near lots of restaurants and shopping, but the house is in a quiet neighborhood. Best of both worlds. Definitely recommend.

Best VRBO and Host Ever😍

My husband and I drove up from Florida to stay at John’s place. Not only was it gorgeous, super convenient, and beyond comfortable, John was AMAZING! He gave great recommendations, checked in on us, was super communicative, and even helped us when I got our car stuck in the snow from an unexpected storm. Great place

We have stayed at this location twice now and will return again when we get back to Denver. John is very good to deal with -- we had to change the reservation dates and John worked with us on that. The downstairs is clean and spacious and comfortable. John provides a lot of useful information about local neighborhoods, attractions, and restaurants. Highly recommended.
