“Recommend this place to friends”

“I am not sure if this place was under new management or had just reopened after being closed for a while but it was not clean or in the best condition. They had people putting furniture together in the lobby. Refrigerators in the lobby in boxes waiting to go to rooms. The hostess desk were make shift desk not real hostess area just open to the lobby. The pool was on the 3rd flood which did not look very safe or clean. Hostess was not very friendly. Elevators were nasty. The Tv in our room barely……

“We only stayed one night but the lodge is wonderful we will definitely stay again when going back to gulf shores. Also, pay the extra $6 a day and use valet parking, it’s $15 for self park or $22 for valet and we wished we had chosen valet. We know for next time.”

“The location and staff were great. The rooms needs to be updated, there was mold in the bathroom ceiling. Room layout was perfect.”

“Run down. Toilet didn’t work very well shower out of soap. Reported first night had to go get soap and toilet never fixed. Pool was dirty.”

“The tile floors on every floor were very dirty same with the elevators kitchen area for breakfast not clean. Bathroom needed touch ups old door, tub and shower nozzle. Parking lot dirty & no ice in ice machines”

“The room had trash on the floor, used hand towels shoved near the toilet paper, mold inside the wall decor frame, moldy lamp shade on desk and wires visibly tangled in the bottom corner of the AC unit. All issues could be prevented easily with properly performing the daily duties.”

“My stay was very nice and a complete change from stats in past. I can really tell that a corporation has custody over everything. I ate at all the restaurants on site and have to say that I believe the menu is tired at Latitude 30 and is dire need for revamping. I ordered the Pork Chop (Medium), Beans and Mashed Potatoes and water for beverage. When it came to the table, my chop was a bit undercooked, the beans were warm but bland and the mashed potatoes were cold and clumpy. My guest ordered……

“We arrived late so we didn't notice the cleanliness of the room until the next morning. At which point when I went to shower I decided against it because the shower had not been cleaned. There was a rubber band on the bathroom floor, hair everywhere. Needless to say very minimal cleaning was done to that room. When brought to the manager's attention they offered nothing other than to send someone in and clean the bathroom for us at that point which we were ready to leave. Also when my husband……

“The wade-in pool was PERFECT for my 2 year old who can’t swim or touch in most pools. Clean hotel, friendly staff, yummy breakfast and overall great location.”
