“Yes, room was spotless. They came and gave me fresh towels. Made the bed. Everything was spot on. I would highly recommend them. I’m definitely coming back in the near future.”

“Staff is amazing, very welcoming! Room was clean upon arrival. Breakfast was pretty good - waffles delicious and coffee was nice and strong! Yogurt provided, juice, apples and oranges, honey buns and danishes, and cereal. The only downside was no protein but it was manageable and provided a variety. The only negative we experienced was we had a smoke free room - which we requested. It was made clear on check-in that any smoke and we would be charged which is fine because we do not smoke.……

“Nice breakfast , but needed more attention on low remaining portions 1hr before end time . Thin bacon was all that was left with no eggs , the biscuits were dry and gravy tasted nasty . Thank goodness for French vanilla creamers ”

“Nice property, convenient. Repair work needs to be done in bathroom tub. Room was always clean. It smelled clean all the time. Simple breakfast- not much there! Very kind employees.”

“House is great, plenty of room, multiple bedrooms and bathrooms. Its about 30 minutes from baylor so need to consider the drive. The town of McGregor is ghost town, basically deserted.”

“Initially, no communication about how to access property until a 2 hour phone call with VRBO to obtain door code. Upon arrival, back door did not lock. I reached out and received an immediate response that maintenance would be called. Owner did send someone out a couple days later, but it could not be fixed during our stay. We got a 2x4 and cut it down to place in door track to secure the property during our stay. Thank goodness we had a relative close with a table saw, so we could feel safe……
