“We had a mishap with the car rental company in Greenville. I called the hotel and they assured me that even though I was running late, the room was still available to us. Check in was quick and smooth. We had a great view of the ocean from our balcony. My grandkids had such a blast at the water park downstairs that they went to bed and slept for 9 hours😂 The room was clean and convenient. It had dishes and utensils that helped me with meals. “We absolutely loved the location of this hotel. The staff was extremely friendly & helpful, the amenities were perfect for us (complimentary round of golf, massages available onsite at the spa, shopping both at the convenient store & boutique). Overall, we were very disappointed by the condition of our room. The room smelled of mildew and years of smoking. “Carrie checked us in and went out of her way to keep our group of 15 on the same floor. She even followed up with us twice during our stay to make sure everything was going well. The beach was just a one-minute walk away, right next to the pier, which offered a perfect view of the fireworks. The rooms were clean, and we had daily housekeeping.
