“Barcelo is a beautiful property outside of Puerto Vallarta. It has something for everyone! The staff take great care in their work. So many friendly people who were always there to help. The buffet food was really good and we always found things to eat. The swim up bar was perfect and so much fun! The spa was so relaxing and so peaceful. We were able to watch football and baseball playoffs in the Cantina with a fun crowd. The staff went out of their way to turn a rainy day into fun activities.……

“Hola Estuvo bien pero la verdad nos hubiera gustado antes de hacer la reservación, que estaba en construcción el restaurante Había muchísimo ruido Y no nos pudo emos realmente relajar”

“El hotel no tenía restaurantes en sus instalaciones, tenías que moverte al hotel del lado para comer. El snack pésimo y con pocas opciones y porciones. Los horarios de alimentos muy limitados. El valet parking matutino pésimo también. Fui a ese hotel el 2021 y ha bajado mucho de calidad.”

“We used to love Hacienda Buenaventura. The property was dated but the waiters and food made up for everything else. This time around, the wait staff was not the friendliest, the food was the same almost every day and was not the best. Breakfast was probably our favorite. Lots of pork dishes for lunch and dinner… too many..The flavors were not the greatest. Servers and hostess at the entrance didn’t go out of their way to make you feel welcome. This was my daughter’s first visit and she was not……

“10/2026: It was a great stay the hotel is a little outdated but its clean and staff is friendly, they had nightly entertainment too. The only thing is that everything closes by 10:30pm. But the location is great because you can always go to any of the bars around the hotel for after hours. This is for sure a family friendly hotel. The buffet for breakfast, lunch, and dinner was good too. I would stay here again specially if I'm traveling with children.”

“El chico que me atendió al final de recepción fue súper amable, también la concierge Xóchitl, pero la comida del buffet estaba súper mala, y el agua chile del restaurante de mariscos es el peor que he probado pero la comida italiana súper rica, también deberían tener más opciones de cervezas con respecto a marcas, y mejor respuesta a preguntas que se realizar por medio de la plataforma de expedia, ya que mandé mensaje varias veces y nunca recibí respuesta.”
