"We really enjoyed this property! It was very clean and well equipped. The furniture and beds are very comfortable with plenty of extra sheets and blankets available. The back deck is large and great for grilling out, plus the little fire pit area was nice too! Don’t worry about being hot because the HVAC system is massive you will stay plenty cool! If you like to sleep with fans I would suggest bringing some as I didn’t see any. On the dock you will find a big chest full of floats and other things plus there is a cabinet with life jackets as well. You also have access to the kayaks. The top deck is awesome you have a great view of the lake and lots of sun! We chose to stay during the week so most of the good local places to eat don’t open till Thursday but the The Spotted Pig BBQ and Tilly’s Tiki Bar, plus the local bakery were excellent! We would definitely stay there again!The check in/out process was super easy and the hosts are extremely accommodating and will respond to messages very quickly! This was my first VRBO experience and we couldn’t have found better hosts!"

"This is probably one of the nicest hotels we have stayed at in Athen, Georgia. It was clean, had a great breakfast, and the rooms were nice with big bathrooms. The location is close to shopping and some good chain restaurants. Everyone likes to stay in the downtown area near the college but I will definitely consider this property next time."

"Bed was comfy . Pillows were hard as a rock.. were a few drops of dried blood on the bathroom floor near the jam. I gloved up and cleaned it with bleach. Other than that I would stay here again."

"It was our first time booking with Homewood Suites. Overall we were very pleased with the hotel, really nice facility good breakfast. A few things to note. The water was cold and the pressure low. It took a long time to warm up and it was luke warm at best. Secondly change the shower tub combo to a shower. The tub was high and slippery. You had to exercise caution getting in and out ."

"Very beautiful property the lawn was very clean and tidy. easy access to the lake. The location isn’t far off from the downtown area which was very neat. There is also a small stand that sells eggs, honey, etc as soon as you turn on to tom Cobb all local and fresh. The trip all together was perfect and 10/10 would recommend staying here!! Ps do watch for deer/wildlife my sister in law hit one maybe a mile from property. "

"Our 2nd time at the cabin and it did not disappoint! You did a phenomenal job with the downstairs! We were floored when we saw it. We enjoyed 2 birthdays while we were there and had a blast! Also had a great time on the lake fishing and swimming and just floating around! Our grandkids each caught a fish and were so excited which made it all the more worthwhile! The kids loved using the kayaks and paddled their way around the area. Perfect relaxing overdue vacation! Easy access to the lake and the surrounding area. Six Flags just under 2 hours! Had a great time in Georgia!Thanks!"
