“Alpine Lake Manor was a great fall retreat! The house sits on the lake, so we got a great view of the geese, ducks, & a beautiful great blue heron, along wirh the autumn color-changing leaves! The house had some great antique finds such as a hand made/sewn notebook, a wonderful vase ala Frank Lloyd Wright, and a window shutter wall hanging of the Raven by Edgar Alan Poe. “Extremely welcoming host, and we even worked out staying an additional night because we were having such a great time. I’ve stayed at Alpine Lake at several different properties, and this was the first one that provided keys to be able to use the indoor pool. It was the perfect space for our family of 3 and 2 dogs. ”

“This property was just as pictured. Very spacious and clean. People who have any issues with steps should caution. There are steps to enter rither by the front or back door. Also the 3rd bedroom and the second bathroom are downstairs. There was also a great deal of noise down in that bedroom, from either the air conditioner and or the plumbing. “Visited WV relatives for early holiday. Yellow Dragonfly is overall great for ages 6y-60y. We prepped traditional Thanksgiving dinner in full kitchen, then had large separate dining room/table to dine away from the work. Little things we liked: ramp to enter; cool game room; plentiful lighting; holiday decor; stocked, including some nice snacks; nothing broken; phone chargers; close to hiking such as Cooper's. Jeff reached out to ensure all was well.We'll be back.”

“This was the second time we’ve rented this cabin. Very nice and well appointed. Location is great. Paved driveway that isn’t steep. Owner always very responsive to questions. ”

“Upon arrival we found mouse droppings throughout most of the kitchen drawers with chewed up paper towels. The home was very dusty and there was dog hair under couches, stairs, and around fire place. The home had lots of space and beautiful surroundings. With a deep clean and routine maintenance it would be a great place. Communication from host was good but we weren’t satisfied with how they handled our concerns. ”

“We had a wonderful stay! The cabin was light, bright, clean, comfortable, and cozy. We loved all the living space. The host was very thoughtful and provided tons of games, puzzles, and books for family time. We would def rent this cabin again in the future. ”
