“The place was spotlessly clean.The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very quiet. The guesthouse was very handily situated for shops and public service buses being in the very heart of Lerwick.There was easy Wi-Fi access in the room and a large TV screen by the bed.”

As the name suggests, a penthouse apartment requires some steps to climb. Great location with co-op supermarket near by and an easy 5 min walk into main street.”

“We have stayed at the Kveldsro for a week plus on two occasions, and really enjoyed ourselves each time. The hotel is not a new building, but as a result is full of character. The rooms are very comfortable and the bathrooms fairly recently updated. The dining room and many of the bedrooms have a wonderful view over the Lerwick harbour. One of the best aspects is that the hotel is only a couple of minutes walk from Commercial Street, and within easy walking distance of most of the many...

Niki and Piet are really excellent hosts, very accommodating and great to talk to. The sauna and hot tub are fabulous too. We had such an enjoyable holiday, some highlights included getting married in Lerwick, a boat trip to Mousa and visiting the broch, exploring the Jarlshof site and walking across to St Ninians and walking around the island. 10/10!”
