“We really enjoyed our stay at Dawson Inn and Suites! The property was very clean, quaint, and welcoming. It had a cozy charm that made our stay especially enjoyable. A great place to relax, and we would definitely stay here again!”

“Poor breakfast. Choices were instant oatmeal and cold cereal. Breakfast items were never restocked the 3 days we were there.”

“A great place to stay, if what you are looking for is a very clean, functional and comfortable place to stay. At a great price. It's an older building, and not many frills. But perfect for my needs.”

“This place is most amazing peaceful beautful to camp at . I just became in love with the area.”

“Had a great time nice and cozy for two!”

“Cabin is in a small resort community with lots of neighbors, but the community was nice and quiet. So many beautiful fireflies at night. It was magical. We loved the location of the cabin and that we could ride our bikes from the cabin and go directly into Pipestem park. Cabin was clean and had absolutely everything we needed!”

“I booked on June 30 to check in on July 3,2026. I sent a message after booking asking whether there is a range in the property as the photo did not show. No response, no check in instructions until I called the host at 3 pm on July 3. Good we got access toProperty immediately. However it felt like entering a sauna and had to switch air conditioner and leave the property until it gets cooled. All faucets are marked wrong in bathroom, red is cold water and blue is hot water . The mixer in the……

“We enjoyed our 3 night stay at this property in Hinton. The surrounding neighborhood was older, but interesting. If you bring a dog and take it walking, beware that there are some big menacing dogs behind some inadequate fencing in the area (not talking about the ones right across the street). We stayed in an upstairs unit. It was so cute, and perfect for a couple. The decor was appealing, it was clean, and had everything you need - cute kitchen with a double hot plate, drip coffee maker,……

“The property was very cute and comfortable. Would be perfect to be able to stay longer to enjoy the warm weather and fresh berries ready for picking around the property.”

“Communication with the owner was fantastic! He was very quick to respond to my questions. He even gave us great ideas of places to visit in the area and beautiful roads to take on our motorcycle trip. The check in process was seamless and the property was clean and very well maintained. The house was stocked with many supplies needed to live there for a week. The kitchen was great! Pots, pans, plates, and other assorted cookware. There were even common spices in the cupboard for cooking as well.……

“We always wanted to stay in an RV. Kids loved it! Grandma not so much! The bathroom was squished with so many towels hanging on the door. Pretty tight for the space vs people! But if we were staying long we probably could have spread out better…. Pool was cold… but two of the boys were fine…”

“Quiet, quaint cabin. Convenient location. Nice kitchen.”

“We had an excellent time and Tammy was an excellent host! The cabin was just the right size for us. The style of the cabin reminded us of cabins in Gatlinburg or the Blue Ridge mountains. The property is gorgeous and we saw plenty of wildlife. Make sure to check under the house for chairs and kayaks! We didn’t notice those until the last day of our stay and wished we had gotten to play around with them more! Overall, it was a fantastic trip and we will definitely stay again!”

“Home was beautiful and very clean. We chose because of the quaint and cozy atmosphere and the beautiful location in Hinton. We would definitely stay there again. Beds were very comfortable.”

“Quiet cottage in the woods 🏡”
