“Stayed here night before hiking Gray's and Torrey's. The hotel (and Silver Plume altogether) is a small and quaint mountain town full of history. The hotel itself is just as advertised: old, quirky, quaint, but lovingly maintained. The communal bathroom was nice, though not sure if we could've done it for a longer stay. “My only disappointment was that the cabin we were assigned had no electricity. To be fair, the website did say the rustic cabins have no electricity, but I missed that - that is on me. Nonetheless, it was comfortable and they provided some battery operated replica lamps that provided a soft lighting. The staff was friendly. Things were reasonably clean. I noticed a few things here and there that could have been better maintained, particularly in the bathroom.”
