The only problem we encountered was the way Expedia sent the reservation to the W. They could not find it when we arrived. It was finally located under II, clearly not my last name. This has happened before in the US...not on any of our many European trips. Not sure why it happens in the US.

Really quaint hotel on a quiet street near Grand Central Station. Staff was very helpful with the exception of the concierge who was very socially awkward. I would expect a concierge to be able to answer basic questions about the city without having to search the Internet. He made very little eye contact and barely spoke. I ended up walking to another hotel and asking their concierge for help instead. If not for this experience, I would have given the hotel a higher rating.

Not very luxurious had a small boutique feel. Great location breakfast in restaurant was good staff was fantastic . Overall if you want to be close to soho in east village walk to all it's a great hotel. Room wise no great shakes for 375 a night your paying more for the name but not sure this property lives up to the standard to which they charge .

Overall I had a good time staying at the hotel. The location is good, within waking distance to two subway stations and many eateries. The room was clean and quite roomy. Breakfast ends too early for me...the first day I missed my breakfast hotel staff sent coffee and muffins to my room instead which was really nice. My only complain would be that the walls are quite thin...I could hear my neighbors talking early in the morning.

The suite was comfortable and roomy unlike many Manhattan hotels. Fortunately the room did not face Lexington Ave. The corner of the hotel is way busy & noisy. Bigger bathroom would have been nice. Overall the value received was definitely worth it.
