“We loved our stay at The Yair. We booked it for its proximity to the river Tweed for fly fishing and found that the river runs past the property; complete with fishing hut and a gillie! The property’s owner was great in his communication and was available for anything we needed. It was fascinating to learn from him about the history of the property. Our cottage was beautiful and the hot tub was a nice addition. We would stay here again, independent of fishing.”

We were pleasantly surprised to find complimentary milk, bread, jam and tea at the property as well as a welcome note and small reference manual for our stay. Of particular note were the sunrise and sunset ocean views both from the property itself and on the half-mile walk from the property to the train station. If you take the train from Edinburgh to Kinghorn in the evening, you might catch the sunset over the bridge- Gorgeous! We had a lovely time...

"Es un hotel céntrico, excedió mis expectativas, el dormitorio es grande y muy cómodo, el personal es muy amable y cortés, el desayuno es excelente sobre todo los platillos que manejan en el desayuno, la vista hacia el castillo es muy buena y la facilidad de tener el hotel hermano al lado permite hacer uso de su alberca y sauna, lo recomiendo ampliamente."
