"This hotel is the perfect base to explore the Pyramids at Giza and Saqqara. We used their personalised entrance service to go directly to the pyramids without the usual entrance way which was nice - it’s not a glamorous entrance mind, but it’s very convenient. We also added the additional tour guide option which made exploring the site much more efficient as well as learning a few extra nuggets of local knowledge and historical insight. The hotel itself is tucked away from the rest of Cairo in its own compound so was surprisingly quiet. The grounds themselves are well maintained with lovely lawns and water features for the birds. The food was good, though if you’re vegan the lunch menu was poor. That being said, the tomato sauce and pasta was actually the best I’ve had pretty much anywhere so that’s a plus! The Indian restaurant on site however had amazing vegan options and we ordered too much because the portion sizes were pretty big! The room itself was clean and tidy and had everything we’d need - but the internet connection is terrible. Better to rely on your own 5G connection."

"Ms Rosita and Mr Eid made my stay at the Ramses excellent with their attention to detail as well as their kind and caring manner. I especially appreciate being asked if I wanted to upgrade to a Nile River view. ❤️ Fabulous! Every night and every morning I woke up to look at the Nile- what a pleasure that was! I also loved how easy scheduling activities were and the punctuality of the personal drivers and guides in picking me up to go to outings like Giza. "

"Really Lovely hotel, We had 2 rooms for us and 5 children. Lovely pools, great fun loving life guards. Great food, plenty of choice. Great kids club and Animation team. Full of fun and high spitits, even managed to get the Teenagers on stage to take part!!! Expedia leads people to believe it has a water park but it only has 3 slides. These were great fun but not the waterpark we were expecting! However for the price it was great and we just booked a trip to Makadi Water world. And to be fair one day there was exhausing so we didnt need 2 weeks access!!! We booked direct with the water world and booked an indrive transfer which was a lot cheaper then the excursions. The Beach was lovely and full of beautiful fish. 2 Lifeguards watching the sea at all times. We went for 2 weeks and did several excursions. When the kids were bored of Volley ball, Playing Pool, the slides, and everything else we ordered a badminton set from Amazon to be delivered to the hotel and played that on the beach. All in all a fantastic holiday and was perfect for us as its a smaller resort and a bit quieter as we have ADHD and Autistic children. "
