Laid-back surf culture thrives along golden beaches where locals catch waves from dawn until sunset. Botanical gardens and yoga studios dot this coastal gem, with the Self-Realization Fellowship offering peaceful meditation spots overlooking the Pacific.
Such a chill & comfortable environment!! Ridiculously close to the beach where there are, what appeared to be, a great spot to catch some waves. There are surf & boogie boards to rent in house! Loved that they have staff at the front desk at all times to monitor those coming in. Even with door code that's changed daily it's nice knowing random peeps couldn't just come in with guests. Plenty of lounge areas to chill & meet other guests. Enjoyed my stay here & would return in a heartbeat!!! def...

The hostel was clean and the staff were friendly. We had a private room that offered many amenities most hostels don’t such as a TV, fridge and sink in the room. The bathrooms and showers were also private stalls which was nice. It is a bit hard to find as it is above a taco shop so we did have to look around for the door but all good once found. It also has a security lock as well. One block from the boardwalk/beach and there is a big free parking lot down the street if you can’t find street...

Ive stayed in hostels all over the US and I have to say this is by far and away the best hostel Ive ever stayed in. The service, amenities, community of people, the beach, the restaurants and bars etc, are perfect for the sea loving traveler. Highly recommend if you want to experience a true hostel beach life.
