"Location is situated not far from restaurants and activities. The area is quiet and doesn’t have a lot of vehicles running up and down the street."

"We stayed there mostly in the evening time - there is a train nearby, but didn't hear due the air conditioning system drowning out the sound. Slept amazingly well - as we were there to deal with family issues...both my husbands and my scores on our fitbits were quite high. Decorated very nicely and fits the definition of a cottage. Would book for a stay again - should we find the need."

"I enjoyed my little solo trip to this adorable cabin in January! The bathtub was luxurious, the views of bald eagles hovering over the Mississippi River was very neat, and enjoying the heated fireplace with some homemade treats rounded out a very relaxing weekend. The owners were also very quick to communicate and friendly when any questions came about. I already plan to come back for a girls weekend in the spring or fall!"

"The place was perfect for a two day trip. It was clean and had a great view of the little lake and fall colors. We were able to cook breakfast on the electric griddle provided, however, we were not able to grill the steaks we had planned because of no way to clean the grill. No problem, though, we just had an authentic German meal out instead."

"The property was nice and really clean, you can tell there was much attention put into every detail. The hosts were very communicative from the start and they were responsive to our questions. The area is really quiet, and outside from the Pinckney Bend Distillery there are not many activities you can do in the area. It does serve well as a place where you can easily go to Hermann or Washington (about 20 mins driving distance)."

"Great location to shopping and restaurants. Private and quiet unit. Many amenities although an upgrade in kitchen utensils is needed. Washer and dryer was very useful but we had to use pliers to turn on the dryer. It was hard for me but my husband was able to do it. Bathrooms were spotless although I believe the cleaners could do a better job overall. More positives than negatives. I would come back to this property."

"The listing shows multiple beds in one room. The room had a pull out couch bed and all other beds were mattresses stored in garage and basement areas. We were very cramped with 7 guys trying to sleep. Photos appeared to be a much newer place."
