“Our stay at the High Frontier Resort was only 3 days in the middle of the week, so we had the entire place to ourselves. “This is a very unique property. The photos don't reveal how large the studio is. Linens, toiletries, coffee, etc. are all top-shelf. The location provides quiet solitude, great vistas, an opportunity to see wildlife, and great night-sky viewing. It is only a few miles south of Fort Davis, and the Chihuahuan Desert Nature Center is directly across the road from the entrance (highly recommended). We would definitely stay here again.”

“Best hotel in Alpine! Clean, comfortable and located near surrounding sightseeing destinations. Staff was great and the little extra amenities, like snacks, were an added bonus.”

“The “restaurant” had 3 food offerings and one had run out. 2 of the 3 nights, they had no chef. The restaurant staff acted like we were in the wrong for not liking the lack of choices and when we told them there was a full menu online, they were rude and said it was old like that was our fault. Just be polite about it. Disappointing”
