this place was the perfect spot to take in the shops, restaurants, bars, and beauty of Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. The room was well appoinmted with a cute reading nook, clean sheets, and even a split AC unit should we have needed it. The staff were all so kind and welcoming.....not to mention great bakers! Breakfast was wonderful every day, with a baked muffin, and a choice of a sweet or savory meal. Coffee and tea were available all day. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Words don't do justice to Quimby Inn and Suites. A Stunning period property on one of the main strips in Bar Harbor. It provides an excellent base to explore the town, Island and Acadia National Park. The staff were polite and knowledgeable and were always on hand to help. The rooms were spacious and comfortable meeting all of our needs. We will most definitely back and can't speak highly enough of the hotel and its staff.

This is my third time staying here and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ve stayed here twice during the summer and once during the fall. The rooms are super cozy. The room is always so clean and smells great. It’s close enough to downtown and Arcadia National Park. When in the room you can’t hear the traffic. Hanscom’s is definitely a diamond in the rough. I also have to say Isis who works at the property is always super nice and fast with responding if you email her.

The Ivy Manor Inn was a great find for us. We were greeted in the lot by Orville who was happy to help with our bags and lead us our check in where two glasses of bubbly were poured as we got our key and moved into our spacious and very comfortable first floor room. Breakfast was plenty for two people on the go. Don't pass up the blueberry muffins. Seriously.
