“The staff was very friendly overall, except for the associate who assisted us during checkout. She came across as somewhat unfriendly and seemed tired or uninterested. Hopefully, she is doing well and finds more enjoyment in her work. The rooms were decent, but there is room for improvement when it comes to cleanliness and maintenance. There was an unpleasant odor in the hallway, although it was manageable. We booked two rooms: one had no light at the entrance, the toilet was not very clean,……

“The room was clean and quiet. The staff were available and attentive but not overbearing. The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast with some hot items. The eggs are powdered but not too bad when peppers were added. All in all the option of having the breakfast available is always a bonus. The bed was somewhat firm and I would recommend they update the pillows which were pretty flat and lumpy. We were in Eaton for a funeral and it was the only option in town. “Did not end up staying. The description for the hotel states wheelchair and van parking. Upon arrival there was no where to park a van and trailer. Nothing was specified about there not being parking for oversized vehicles. The front desk clerk was not helpful at all, and even though there was a sign on the wall that stated that there was a manager on site. The manager was not there. When the front desk clerk tried to call the manager about the problem, the manager did not answer. Then the clerk……

“Awesome location for us for football camp at UNC. No time for amenities, ie hot tub or pool. In room 112, it was very convenient to front desk and door and breakfast. Staff outstanding. Very friendly and helpful. Only complaint was that the carpet needs a good cleaning to prevent soiling of socks, but that’s common with a room so close to entrance.”
