The cultural commune of Taxco is among the most visited parts of the state and offers an insight into inland Guerrero. Visit the impressive Church of Santa Prisca, the Casa Humboldt and the Casa Borda Cultural Center. Browse the Plaza de las Americas Shopping Mall.
Ride the Teleferico de Montetaxco to the top of the mountain and enjoy views of Taxco. Nearby is the Grutas de Cacahuamilpa National Park, containing the state’s best-known caves and subterranean rivers.

There were renovations going on during our stay, it did not bother us at all.
hotel Emporio staff is very friendly with helping hands on always when We need something and the facilities are little bit old but, beautiful. I visit Acapulco many times and always stay in this place for the same reasons.
I like that we got a room with very nice ocean view. I didn’t like that the A/C was not able to cool the room to a cool enough temperature and also the only place I could find Ice and get wifi was the looby
Great view of the bay. Excellent New Year's Eve party that guest could purchase for approximately $125 per person. It was well worth it! If possible, i will attend again this year.
It was all very nice. The main pool needs some refurbishing...the floor, which isn't tile, but some sort of plastic paint, was coming off at multiple sections. I was told, though, by management, that they are in the process of changing that. Other than that, all good!
