"We did a weekend stay, all adults. The rooms were nice, beds were comfortable. Only disappointment was the grill didn't work and the food stuck to the pans when we cooked. Home is located down the street from a small grocery store which was super convenient, and if we had wanted fast food it was close by as well. Nice home, good hosts."

"This place was one of the best places we ever stayed at. So quiet and the wildlife was amazing. Birds of all kinds, deer, turkey, bullfrogs and turtles also. The lake was fun and the hiking trails were just enough for a bit of exercise. We stayed for 3 nights and never left the property. Hated to leave. Roger and Mary joined us around the campfire as my friend played acoustic guitar. Great owners!! Only suggestion we had was maybe some hooks on the wall in the main bedroom to hang some clothes."

We enjoyed the sights of the Hocking Hills and able to return to the house to enjoy a peaceful, relaxing evening by the campfire. Lena was a wonderful host. She had everything there and easy to find! "We planned our stay so we were halfway between Nelsonville and Athens so we could ride our bikes out and back. It was a perfect location. Unfortunately it is located on busy Hwy 33 so the traffic noise was significant. The place was clean and well appointed. The hosts were fantastic"

"This is a great place to stay with friends or family. Jean was so nice and responsive. The entire property is beautiful. The views from the deck are amazing and we say Bluebirds! I cannot say enough positive comments about this home. It's close to Athens through the winding hills. Beautiful part of Ohio. We will be back!"

"Clean property. Loved the pool table and jacuzzi. The 2nd floor was a little warm, so if you like sleeping in cool temps plan your stay here during the cooler seasons (we stayed in August). I recommend this rental."
