“This is the first I rented a basement apartment with the owners upstairs. The apartment was as presented in photos, I didn’t like hearing people walk around upstairs. But that’s me. The neighborhood was very nice, close to restaurants and any number of activities. The only thing missing was the “how to” book. Every question I had I had to contact the owners. A book would have answered most if not all the questions. ”

The front door of the apartment only has a safety chain. When you leave the apartment, and any valuables you don’t wish to carry with you, you can only ‘lock’ the front door with the chain and exit through back open porch steps.
