“Was upgraded to a larger room for no special reason. Very nice proprietor. For budget priced accommodations, this is an excellent value. Would definitely stay here again if I am in the area.”

“There are many great aspects of staying at the Berkshire Mountain Lodge. It is very convenient if you like exploring different parts of Pittsfield, Lenox, and Lee. In terms of the room, the bed was the perfect size and the mattress and pillows did not give me any pains unlike other places. The room was very clean. It genuinely helped as we have an one year old that likes to crawl. During our stay, I did not have to worry about her finding anything on the floor or that she was going to get a……

“This was an unexpectedly exellent stay. The rooms were very spacious, very clean. The owner was very pleasant and helpful. The beds were also quite comfortable! Having stayed at two other properties during our visit to the area, I can say that the River Valley Inn outshined the others. We should have booked there for more nights.”

“This property has a mid century motel look from the street but the rooms have been recently upgraded and are fully modern inside. A great value and comfortable place to stay”

“Great location in second floor of an old mill. Above the brewery and restaurant. No live music when we stayed. We would have enjoyed that but they warn guests that it could be loud in rooms. Rooms clean. Beds were comfortable and nice view of river. Blinds and curtains provide for sufficient darkness if desired. Bathroom clean. Good hot shower. Cold water faucet was broken. Door combo works but you need to be sure to lock deadbolt when in room or from outside when leaving - it's not automatic.……

The gift shop had some great finds, and the restaurant featured great food and excellent service. We would definitely stay here again for our next trip to the Berkshires!”
