"Been a frequent guest at this location due to business interests. Last week when I checked in the reception was extremely good with the front desk staff being extremely helpful like always. To top it off I got an upgrade to a nice quiet area of the hotel and a super spacious room. Fully enjoyed a nice relaxed day and evening"

Robin the manager was super friendly and the gentleman (he was from Nigeria) Was so kind and helpful just like Robin To be honest they were so hospitable and when I saw them with other guests they were the same!!! I know where I will stay again if I ever come back Love them and loved the hotel Thanks again for the customer service we received because this day in time we felt like it’s gone by the wayside…. So comforting to know it hasn’t with your staff!!!! God bless"

"The Fontaine is in our rotation when traveling to KC. It continues to be very suitable for its location, cleanliness, comfort and value. Are the rooms in need of updating? maybe, but not to extent of calling them tired. We love visiting the bar on the 7th floor off the pool deck, though pool was not open for the season yet on this stay. Some of the best happy hour drinks you'll find anywhere! On matter of bathroom towel racks, none except one in the shower, not sure why there aren't any on the bathroom walls. Regardless, we'll be back, "

"This property was very disappointing. The common areas were extremely unclean, and there was a strong odor throughout the building. The listing did not indicate that the environment would smell like smoke, which made the experience uncomfortable. I reached out to the hotel and to Hotels.com about the condition of the room, but neither was willing to offer a resolution. Based on my experience, the condition of the property did not match what was presented on the booking site."

"Room was clean, very comfortable and quiet. Staff was very helpful and attentive, especially with the inclement weather. The 11th floor breakfast area was fabulous, including concierge service, delicious food (plentiful), pleasant (calm) with amazing views."
