Nice, modern hotel at the seaport. Quiet, walkable area with lots of restaurants and great harbor views. Hotel had spacious rooms, comfortable beds, nice views, free good breakfast, rooftop patio with firepits and lots of amenities. Self parking at $15 across the street was fantastic.

We found so much charm in this building built in 1901. Great that they saved the old brick and humongous wooden beams. The laminate floors in the room feel brand new. Loved the kitchen
and two TV's. Nice service offered where you can leave a shopping list and they'll stock your fridge.
We thought 72 degrees was rather cool but were able to adjust easily. There are a few cool vegan friendly restaurants in a one block radius that the concierge did not know about - Green something (adjacent to...

The best area to stay in Hingham is the downtown area, particularly around Hingham Square and the Hingham Shipyard, for convenient access to local attractions and amenities.
Hingham Square is the heart of downtown Hingham, characterized by its historic buildings, independent boutiques, and local restaurants. Main Street and North Street converge here, offering a walkable experience with easy access to shops and dining. It's an ideal spot for couples looking for a charming New England experience, with unique shops and cozy eateries just steps away.
The Hingham Shipyard, located along the waterfront, offers a more modern experience with a mix of residential and commercial spaces. It features a marina, waterfront dining options, and a commuter ferry terminal that provides direct access to Boston.
When is the best time to go to Hingham?
The best time to visit Hingham, Massachusetts, is during the summer months, from June to August, when the weather is warm and sunny, great for outdoor activities.
During this period, the average temperatures range from the mid-60s to high 70s Fahrenheit, with less humidity than later in the season. This weather is ideal for enjoying the town's coastal attractions, like World's End, a scenic peninsula offering walking trails and views of the Boston skyline, or spending time at Hingham Harbor.
Families often find late spring and early summer particularly appealing. The school year is ending, and the warmer weather allows for comfortable exploration of local parks and beaches without the peak crowds of mid-summer. Many local events and outdoor festivals also begin in June, offering family-friendly entertainment.
For couples looking for a quieter, yet still pleasant experience, late September and early October offer beautiful fall foliage and crisp air.
