“You go to the restaurant/bar next door to check in. Good food but a bit strange to go to the other building first. Place was definitely not a five star, but once we got past the initial shock it turned out to be good for the price. No microwave or refrigerator. I would definitely stay there again to save money. ”

“A great inn in Edingbrugh. We stay for 3 nights with two rooms. The breakfast is wonderful and the bad is very comfortable. The room is equipped everything we need during our stay. Though no lift to the 2nd floor and 3rd, we still enjoy this small old building. However the street noise can be heard clearly that might put you sleepless whole night, especially over weekend. We could leave lugguages for half day after check out and help make our walking tour on Royal mile easier. Thank you……

“Cannot fault this hotel. From check in to check out all of the staff were friendly and welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The whole experience was relaxing with amazing views over the golf course and the sea beyond. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable, slept like a log. The food in the restaurant was good value, cooked fresh and was well presented - delicious. ”

“Hotel is in a great central location. Unfortunately restaurant and bar closed early for the off-season, given mid-March. However local area still had lots of other eatery options, plus hotel was open for a breakfast. My room 5 was single in attic, but dormer window provided great view of bass rock, particularly at sunrise. ”
