"I stayed at Casa Betel with 5 friends and the villa truly exceeded our expectations. Wonderfully spacious with lots of bathrooms and gorgeous garden and pool area. We particularly loved the heated pool and outdoor eating area. These were all cleaned and tidied on the Friday of our stay but it didn’t take long. We didn’t have a BBQ but maybe next time! "We had a fabulous time during our stay in Tavira. The villa is ideally located 3 minutes walk to the Gran Tavira shopping centre with a huge Continente supermarket open from 08:00 - 22:00 every day. It is only a 20 minute walk into town but as it was very hot when we were there we took Uber into town and got a local taxi back. All very easy and all the drivers were very friendly. "My husband and I stayed in this lovely house with a pool. The location was quiet. However it was wonderful hearing the crickets and watching the stars late into the evening. There were a few supermarkets you can walk to that were reasonably priced plus restaurants if you didn’t want to cook. There is a lovely beach you can walk to in 10 minutes. "Lovely, comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped house. It was a great base to explore the surrounding area, with good walking in the nearby national park, and sea swimming and water sports nearby, Good waves at Punta Umbria 10 minutes away. "We grew up in Spain but live in the US. We wanted to go back and visit family and rented Gaby's house. We absolutely loved the time we had there. The pool is beautiful, the outdoors grill area was something we used every day and the layout of the rooms is great: my wife and I had the master bedroom upstairs while my inlaws were on the first floor. Gaby and her husband were very nice and super responsive. Overall, we had an amazing time!"

"The villa had all the facilities we required. Lovely pool, comfy beds and plenty of space for everyone. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The villa is well situated and you can walk to beaches and restuarants but a car is ideally needed for shopping and to explore the area. The only thing to mention is the villa would benefit from a few more sunbeds or softer seating in the pool area as the current ones are short in number and getting a little tired. "Firstly, it would be amiss not to say what charming and attentive hosts Jose and Ana are. Nothing was too much trouble and both displayed generosity on several occasions which was very appreciated. They really are a lovely couple. Our flight was delayed but Ana and Jose ensured they were there to greet us and very kindly had provided staples. "Great hotel and very friendly staff. The outside pool is cold. Reception staff went above and beyond. We arrived at 1 in the morning and still got checked in after calling the out of hours number. Check in only took 5 mins. Walking distance to the beach although there are no pavements so you need to walk on the road. "
