Bad one night stay

Posted Aug 28, 2015
The whole building had a scary vibe. The outside appereance needs a lot of work. Elevator is old feels like it's going to break down. Our rooms AC was not working, we tried to open the window to get some air in the room and it almost fell on top of my head, not safe at all. They moved us to a different room after all that. I would never go back to this hotel it was all I could find as it was move in time for Ithaca College and Cornell wasn't able to find any vacancy any where else I only stayed 1 night.

Sad, dilapidated property with a decent staff

Posted Aug 26, 2015
Pros: The staff was pleasant and reasonably helpful.
Cons: Major remodel/renovation required. Property is in such a poor state that even a basic renovation is probably not economically viable.
Location: Location close to Cornell is a plus, but does not make up for the awful condition of the property.
Very poorly maintained, dilapidated property - surprised it can remain open and comply with all safety codes, etc. Fairly decent staff is let down by an extremely poor property, leagues beyond its prime, that clearly has had virtually no investment / upkeep in the last decade (if not two decades). Property was really a shambles - big disappointment.

Get to the hotel, looks like a warehouse. Parking lot filled with giant potholes everywhere. Landscaping is overgrown. Smells old. Front desk people were very nice. Manager I spoke to on the phone was very rude about an issue we had. She said my bank lied to my, Chase bank a national bank lied to me. Pictures of their breakfast are misleading. Pool area looks gross.

Reasonable price and clean room.

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Pros: Rate was reasonable.
Hotel still needs lots of work. Room was very clean. Beds didnt seem full size. No landscaping. Hallways torn up. Assume they are redoing everything.

Bad

Posted Jul 18, 2015
The hotel looks like an abondoned building on the inside and out. There are no signs. It's in need of serious repairs and upgrades. The room was nice, but I got the feeling it was the only room on the floor that was redone, and I feel like we were the only ones on that whole floor. The pool wasn't open. Glad we only stayed one night.

Filthy and Broken Hotel on the Cheap.

Posted Jun 9, 2015
Our stay at this hotel was disappointing. First, the facilities require an update and significant maintenance. The parking lot is littered with potholes and the common space of the hotel is filthy. A sign was posted "Hotel under construction, please pardon our appearance", but I did not see maintenance or construction crews working at the hotel. The only reason we selected this hotel is because of the indoor pool, price and side-by-side rooms. The staff was friendly and helpful with the room issue. The price was decent, but could have been better regarding the fact the facility requires an updating and full, thorough cleaning.

Room is good and clean the rest of the place is very run down and under renovation. It's still full price but cheaper than the big hotels.

Nice location

The hotel is in a great location but it could use an uplift and amenities.
