Filthy - Not at all as advertised.

Posted Aug 14, 2017
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: The pool needs to be open if they are going to advertise that they have one. The parking lot needs to be repaved. It is terrible and caused a flat.
Location: The location is within minutes of all kinds of things to do.
The pictures make this hotel show like brand new. It is not at all. I have several pictures of this nasty hotel. Supposed to have a pool - does not "closed for repair" .. Supposed to have a nice breakfast area -- breakfast was terrible. The staff was alright, but not especially accommodating.

Overpriced and shabby.

Posted Jul 4, 2017
Pros: Location
Cons: Everything - very shabby and dated. Parking lot needs a lot of repairs.
Location: Close to town, Cornell University, parks, fast-food, gas station, malls, wine stores, groceries.
Driving into the parking lot (which was full of potholes) and into the reception area (which was leaking after the rains), we were not impressed. The folks at the reception were nice enough but appeared bored. The pool was closed, gym had three machines in it and the breakfast was quite sad. No refills when the coffee or yogurt ran out, hot water was barely warm, breakfast sandwiches were stale and there were no staff at hand in the dining room. There were not enough towels, soap, shampoo and no housekeeping and the coffee machine was dirty and unusable. The AC conked out the first night and they said they would fix it , but nobody showed up. They reluctantly gave us another room the next night. Rooms were surprisingly big, bed was comfortable and washrooms were clean enough.

Undergoing reconstruction. Not fit to host guests.

Posted Jun 30, 2017
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything.
Location: Location is not the real problem, though quite unappealing.
In poor condition. Parking lot looks like a war zone. Breakfast scimpy prepackaged at best.

Evidently failing hotel on last legs -- Unsafe

Posted May 23, 2017 on Hotels
No outside lights at hotel when we came in -- scary. None the 3 nights we stayed there. Even worse, and a huge legal liability and safety concern -- NONE of the doors outside the building (rear, sides) locked AT ALL. Anyone could walk in and waylay you at any time. Pool closed, restaurant closed, no amenities. Room not cleaned after first night -- so had to request it for next night's stay. Everything needs updating/cleaning/painting. Had to run water for 20 minutes to get from cold to warm. This facility must be going under or tied up in a restructuring bankruptcy or something, for them to have so few guests and so little maintenance and amenities available. Would never, never, stay there again, and if there were any place else to stay we would not have stayed this time. Seriously considered when walking up dark entryway at arrival (NO LIGHTS -- NONE) and seeing no card entry required on building doors leaving anyway, and sleeping in our car.

It needs major work. The halls smelled. The elevator sounded like it was going to explode. The ceiling in the room was so losing plaster. The room furnishings were good, but the coffee maker did not work. The staff was excellent. The facility needs major work. You should take it off your site. Chuck

Everything old and smelly!

Posted May 20, 2017 on Orbitz
Pros: nothing
Cons: A real breakfast at least.
Location: Cornell Plantations
This building must be over 50 years old, looks unwelcoming, hallways smell of freshener to cover older smoking areas. Fortunately the bed was comfortable

The hotel hopefully was in the beginning stage of being renovated. The bed was comfortable and clean but the room and the total place is in need of updating .
