While a little inconvenient, this didn’t bother me at all, just adds to the charm of an older (but nicely renovated) house. My dog navigated around it fine and seemed to give it a wide berth intuitively, so that was not an issue. “In town for a wedding and this property was great for a quick visit. Clean, all one level for my elderly mom, and two bathrooms for us to all get ready for the wedding. Great location and quiet neighborhood. Nothing luxury or fancy, but the property felt clean, comfortable, and safe and was well stocked. We also really appreciated how easy the checkin and check out was. They didn’t require us to do a deep clean of everything - just wash dishes and take out the trash. ”
