“This was beautiful and comfortable, clean and in good shape, and well set up to accommodate our family. Kids and adults all liked the jetted tub, the games and toys provided, the fireplace, and thought the beds were really comfortable. A quiet, serene setting with a welcoming, wide porch made for a relaxing, cozy winter weekend away. Host Janie was very communicated and helpful. Would highly recommend!”

“My family and I will not be back. The room was dirty when we arrived. There was a soda cap on the floor and a half eaten Slim Jim that my 10 month old daughter picked up. The utensils in the kitchen were dirty, especially the vegetables peeler. We were going to have breakfast in our hotel but chose to eat out as a result. For the price we paid for this hotel, I was really expecting higher quality.”

“Had a great stay at Jay's Spy House. Super location and nicely modernized house in the very heart of Harper's Ferry historic district. Jay was very attentive to anything we needed, which turned out to be very little, since everything was provided. Definitely recommend at stay here if visiting HF. ”

“The cabin was fine except for the one issue I had with the cleanliness. The dishwasher was full of half clean dishes. I say half clean because the dishwasher had been run, but the many of the dishes were not clean. I had to hand wash them first because I did not want to be blamed for putting away unclean dishes and washing them again in the dishwasher would have been futile. ”
