“Easy check in very clean comfortable perfect place away from home to stay”

“The location was absolutely perfect. It is walking distance from downtown Lake Placid and less than 15 minutes from the Loj. It looks a little rough from the outside, but the room itself was very clean. It's hard to find a room with three separate beds, so the family triple was a good fit. The bathroom door didn't close, there is no housekeeping even for a week stay, and you have to grab your own supplies (towels, coffee) from the office and you have to take your own trash to the dumpster, but……

“This is our happy place. Rooms are nice, restaurant is absolutely fantastic and the staff are accommodating. If you want housekeeping, you just text them for it. I think our king mattress (room 33) could use a newer mattress but still slept very well. They light a fire pit outside with wood but I have asthma and they didn’t light it unless someone specifically asked. Love! The pavilion (The Porterhouse) has a great gas fireplace and we enjoyed watching football in there on the bar tv. A great……

“The location was everything! A few minutes walk to Mirror Lake, shops, bars, restaurants, ice cream, and trails around the lake. Since parking costs a premium within Lake Placid, this was a major perk. Second, staff was a text away and showed up at our room to walk us to the newly relocated firepit with Adirondack chairs under the starry sky. Would 100% stay here again. Directly next door to Fratelli's pizza and what a great value compared to pricy spots in Lake Placid.”
