"Overall, we had a good stay at The Stella Hotel for three nights. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room was clean, and the location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of several restaurants, and being directly across from an ice cream shop made it easy to grab dessert every evening. Parking was also convenient. The front desk experience at check-in was a bit disappointing. The young woman workin was not very welcoming or engaging. Had headphones in, and at one point we had to wave just to get someone’s attention. It wasn’t the warm first impression you hope for when arriving at a hotel. On the other hand, the gentleman working the front desk on Sunday morning completely changed that experience. He was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and professional—exactly what you expect from hotel staff. He deserves recognition for his customer service. One thing to note is that we stayed three nights and never received housekeeping service. It wasn’t a major issue for us, but it would have been nice to have fresh towels or the room refreshed during our stay. The bed and pillows were both on the firmer side. If you prefer a firm mattress and firm pillows, you’ll probably be very comfortable. Personally, I prefer a softer bed, but that’s simply a matter of preference. The rooftop bar was very nice. We did enjoy the comfortable seating and drinks. My husband enjoyed the café as well."

"We really enjoyed our stay here during the 4th of July weekend. Admittedly our expectations were muted but we were pleasantly surprised at the overall experience. You can't beat the location. Beaches, bars and restaurants all within easy walking distance. The front desk staff were all very courteous and helpful. Pool and hottub areas were very clean and well maintained. The outdoor deck facing the water is a great area to hang out. It was closed for a private event on the 4th, although the deck bar was accessible to guests and there were a few tables just off the deck for guests as well. Room and bath both very clean and well maintained."

"The room was small and cozy. You don’t have access to the thermostat but we stayed during a heat wave and it was comfortable and a fan was provided. The room did smell of spices for the duration of our stay which could bother some people but we were made aware of the cooking with the welcome letter. The room was clean and we hardly heard the hosts!"

"Nice yard for dog. House was well stocked sheets, towels etc. Electric plug in master bedroom appears to not work. Toilet in half bath likely needs replaced/ repaired chain gets stuck and needs adjusted after flushing. Looked for a hose to wash off back chairs, could not find. Appreciated the prompt blender delivery upon request. Thanks for a good visit at the house! Chris Rubin"
