Nice location...no love by property managers.Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: The location.
Cons: The hotel staff. They are NOT hospitality persons. They are timeshare people.
Location: The Carson Valley on the eastern edge of the Sierra mountains is a water wonderland. Marshes, geese, ducks, song birds, frogs, turtles, and mosquitoe
What a special place in Nevada with ducks and geese playing in the water wonderland in the back yard. I get a snippy receptionist at check-in. The room is a dark cell with a hard bed and a showerhead with half the waterholes plugged up AND it takes FOREVER for hot water to come to the shower. Lastly, it would be better to not say they have WiFi. So slow as to be unusable. So slow that my browser would time out routinely. Better to go to Starbucks for internet access than get angry waiting and waiting and waiting and ...

A must stay!Posted Jul 25, 2015
Location: Lake Tahoe is approximately 15 minutes away (the resort is at the base of the mountain). The small town of Genoa, NV (a must see) is 5 minutes away.
This resort was amazing. The location is perfect and the amenities are fantastic. We used the spa and relaxed in the hot springs. The restaurants (on-site) food and service was above great. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was very helpful. The overall experience will result in us returning as soon as possible. I would highly recommend this resort to anyone interested in visiting Lake Tahoe, Carson City, or Reno.

Resort in GenoaPosted Jul 8, 2015
Pros: The view was nice from our included balcony. The elevator was handy from the third floor. The room included a microwave and small refrigerator.
Cons: The shower head was old and did not direct water well, though the water pressure was excellent. The toilet seat was basically unattached.
Location: Definitely visit the Genoa Saloon and Country Store, located within a half mile of the resort.
We stayed only one night and were unable to use the pool due to an extended thunderstorm. We loved the little town of Genoa with its historical saloon and country store. The room was not as quiet as we would have liked, as we could hear the occupants talking next door. Be aware access to hot springs require additional payment. We would probably not stay there again, as there is a quaint hotel in 'downtown' Genoa.

Peaceful resort away from it all.Posted Jun 10, 2015
Pros: Location close to Tahoe, Genoa, Carson City. Quiet
Cons: Modernize room furnishings. Provide more on site activities.
Location: Walking distance to historic Genoa, short drive to South Lake Tahoe, Carson City and Minden.
Quiet resort, a few minor issues, room missing towels on check in, hair dryer missing, small tube TV with non working DVD player. Resort is located at a hot spring but charges additional fees to use the hot springs. Room was clean, plenty of no fee parking close to room.

Pros: Everything but the bed and pillows.
Location: Gardnerville , Minden and Virginia City. Great old towns with alot of History.
the room was great but the bed was a rock and the pillows terrible. We have stayed there before and know problem. I should have asked to be moved. Restaurants are great. Just 1 Bad experience.

Hotel okay..Posted Jun 1, 2015
Cons: The key card door lock
The door lock was difficult to operate and required several attempts with the key card to open each time we entered the room. The TV had to be reset before it would work. The furnace made a constant ringing sound as though it had a bad fan. We finally figured where the noise was coming from just before we checked out. I reported this at the desk as we left. We would stay there again.
