“Lovely place to stay and visit I would definitely recommend”

“We had a room on top floor which was very comfortable. Good cooked breakfast with buffet continental . Parking at rear of hotel was handy £10 extra. Would use again. Staff great.”

“We were made very welcome on arrival and throughout by friendly helpful staff.Our room 60 with patio was lovely.so we sat in the sun overlooking gadrens listening to birds singing and a Squirrel on the lawn . The pool was just right for a lovely swim . The lounges restorant and general building and garden beautiful. Thankyou Flackley and staff for lovely stay.”

“Battle is a very small town; having the helpful hotel staff in the neighborhood is certainly a plus. This building has existed as of the 16th century, and it's been properly maintained and apparently renovated in the toilet/bathroom.”

“Clean, everything you need, walking distance to beach, nice and quiet. Would be 5 star except sofa smells, plant overgrown on entrance to property and back door very stiff and hard to lock. Lovely little estate of pretty houses”

“I was disappointed with this stay. For the amount of money it cost, the caravan was not clean, was overcrowded and needs a lot of smarting up. You had to pay extra to have bedding which I think is unreasonable, particularly how much it cost per night anyway. Communication with the host was fine but not great. Unfortunately I won’t be recommending or returning to this property. ”

“Good parking facilities. Hotel is right in town which is a real bonus. Staff were helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. We went instead to a very charming cafe just for a change. Unfortunately the down side of the hotel are the rooms. We had a twin room, nice view and large. However the decor was very tired and frankly grubby. The bathroom was ok but if you tried turning round in the bath whilst having a shower you could, and I did, crack your……
