Top Rye Castle Museum Hotel Reviews
The Kings Head Rye
10/10 Excellent
"Truly exceptional accommodation in glorious coastal East Sussex. Great hospitality and hearty breakfast daily, with unique pub setting for lunch and evening meals. Looking forward to my next stay, hopefully sooner rather than later. Thanks to all at The Kings Head Inn, Rye, East Sussex."
The Ship Inn
8/10 Good
"Lovely welcome upon arriving, nice bedroom with all the amenities, did not have dinner but had a lovely breakfast with friendly service, the only thing that I was disappointed in was the toilets in the bar area where the cubicle didn't have a lock and it wasn't exactly clean in there, all in all would recommend a stay as good location for everything including train station and nice and quiet at night."
The Hope Anchor
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was wonderful. Rachel was so kind and accommodating. Beautiful location but it was the people that made the impression. Very cozy interior and lounge/ dining area. Perfect quiet weekend getaway"
Pretty 18th century cottage centrally situated on Mermaid Street in Rye
10/10 Excellent
"The cottage was lovely and the location perfect. Clare was kind and helpful."
River Haven Hotel
8/10 Good
"Really good location, just a short walk from the centre. Being able to park was a real bonus. Freshly cooked breakfast and friendly staff. Room pleasant and clean. Good value for money and would use this hotel again."
Two bedroom cottage in the heart of Rye with private parking.
8/10 Good
"A lovely house, and the private parking is a rare bonus in Rye, however the rug needs a thorough steam clean as do the sofas. The shower left much to be desired as the controls were actually outside the area so we had to keep opening the door to adjust the temperature. The bed in the main bedroom squeaks when you move, which can wake you up. It's a shame about these issues as it is indeed a lovely house in a lovely town and we would be glad to return if the above issues could be addressed."
16th Century Cottage Situated Opposite The Medieval Landgate Arch
10/10 Excellent
"A great place to stay, a small cottage with plenty of character located in the centre of Rye with walking access to nearby shops, restaurants and pubs. Plenty of car parks nearby and local parks."
The Old Borough Arms
8/10 Good
"Clean room. Very helpful staff. In the middle of all activities. Could not find hairdryer in the room. I thought that parking was available but itβs parking on the road and only two hours during the day but plentiful car parks nearby. Super ice cream shop attached to property."
Chequer - a holiday let that sleeps 14 guests in 7 bedrooms
10/10 Excellent
"We loved it sooo much and had the best time. The decor is gorgeous, the beds were so comfy and we had everything we needed for a fabulous weekend :) Only thing I would say is that the balconies needed a tiny refresh. There was lot's of bird poo on the glass on the balcony off from the kitchen and the larger balcony at the bottom could do with the hedge cutting and weeds removed down the stairs. These are really only minor things as overall it was perfect!"
