Skip the crowds and bling of Versailles and treat yourself to this perfect architectural masterpiece (that is, the Chateau-- the hotel is disappointingly modern, with smallish rooms, but overall felt luxurious). "Very pleasant hotel, spotlessly clean, lovely location near the banks of the Loire. Good breakfast and very helpful staff. The only downside was the air conditioning unit in our room, which was noisy, so we had to turn it off. Luckily the temperature meant this wasn't a problem. "
