"This is among the last three historic hotels of pre-casino-gambling Atlantic City. As a building, it has ‘good bones’, the basis for some charm, and a well-done remodeling over a decade ago. But it’s showing wear and tear; the check-in staff is border-line scary; and the chambermaids failed to make our bed and delivered too few towels. I’m glad to have had this glimpse of the historic Atlantic City - once in my life."
