Welcome to TIME OUT.... take a TIME OUT to relax, take TIME OUT to reconnect with family and friends. We hope you'll have a wonderful stay. We think we've supplied lots of things to help you relax and enjoy.  The perfect getaway conveniently located 1.8 miles to Wolf Laurel Ski Resort at an elevation of approx. 4250 ft., within a 10 minute walking distance to the mid-mountain ski lifts. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath townhouse offers a spacious wood deck with beautiful long range mountain views, paved access, WIFI, internet phone, 5 cable TV's with 2 DVD players, sleeper sofa, central A/C and heat, gas log fireplace and pool table. If you'd like to hike the Appalachian Trail,  Sam's Gap is just 7 miles away by vehicle.  Close proximity to Hatley Pointe, new ski resort  scheduled for Winter 2023 opening weather permitting! Discover the Sam's Gap to Big Bald hike. Generally considered a moderately challenging route, it takes an average of 7 h 17 min to complete. This is a popular trail for backpacking, birding, and hiking, Dogs are allowed on the trail but must be leashed.

 A well-behaved dog may be permitted by the owner, provided the dog is crated when left alone.We also require that dogs not be allowed on all beds and furniture nor scratching flooring and crated when left alone. Provided towels and linens are NOT for pet use, please be a responsible pet owner; pet owners who do not follow the rules are subject to additional cleaning fee.  Respecting these guidelines enables us to continue to offer a home for pets and their families.   A non-refundable pet fee of $150 is required prior to arrival.  Prior approval is required to bring more than one dog and an additional pet fee will be required to be paid.  We will request the additional monies after the reservation is confirmed.
IF ANY PET IS BROUGHT TO THE PREMISES WITHOUT RECEIVING PRIOR APPROVAL AND/OR THE $150 PER PET FEE BEING PAID, YOU WILL BE CHARGED A $500 PET PENALTY FOR EACH UNAUTHORIZED PET AND SUBJECT TO BEING ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY!

We STRONGLY recommend our guests come prepared for inclement weather. Often mountain roads can become impassable from heavy snowfall. We encourage our guests to be prepared with extra supplies such as food/beverages etc. We do recommend 4WD for most properties.
Do not attempt to maneuver around mountain roads if you are not familiar with how to operate a vehicle in the snow or a vehicle with tire chains in the snow. Please observe local weather advisement guidelines.

Amazing view of mountains
A group of friends and I stayed at this property, it was very spacious for the 10 of us. The outside balcony had a breathtaking view at sunset and sunrise. The location was a bit tough to find, as we got lost using Google Maps but that's the price of booking an exclusive house. I would stay here again and recommend for future guests.

Perfect getaway!
First of all, that view!! It was absolutely gorgeous out while we were there in early June. The weather was about 10° cooler up at the house than it was in Asheville. The house was exactly like pictured, plenty of room for the family to spread out comfortably. Bathrooms on all 3 floors was a plus. Plenty of throw blankets to cuddle with. Stocked kitchen. Great family games to play. And great wifi too surprisingly. We had such a great time we extended an extra day while we were there. The management company was so responsive the whole time, responded to texts quickly and was very helpful. We would definitely stay again!

A wonderful stay!
This property is absolutely beautiful and the views are amazing. It is spacious and comfortable. There were not many people around, so the privacy was great. The roads are very steep and curvy, so bring your Dramamine!

My family and I enjoyed our stay at time out. Everything was as described. The ride up the mountain was VERY steep definitely need 4wd or put your vehicle in low gear. The property manager was great at communicating back with us with any concerns. The property could use a deep clean, just dusty but overall clean. There was plenty of kitchenware and seasonings that you need for cooking.

Beautiful property with spectacular views
The property was just as described & shown in the pictures. The views from the deck were absolutely stunning. We had a winter storm that came through on the weekend we were staying; therefore, the road conditions were extremely hazardous. I STRONGLY recommend getting to the house during day time and in good weather. My F150 with 4-low could not overcome some of the hairpin turns in the snow/icy conditions. We had to leave our truck on the side of the road about 1.5 miles from the house. It was a beautiful hike back to get the truck back the next day; the snow & ice made it a winter-wonderland. Also would like to mention major thanks & kudos to Jill and Rick (who are residents of one of the cabins); they helped us in the dark carry luggage & even drive their own car to help us get to our house. Very nice folks & our families & friends had an amazing time minus the night-time driving/slipping in the icy-snow. Would recommend this house for sure!

Absolutely Perfect!
This property was exactly as described in the listing. The layout of the home was perfect for our group of people. My wife and I enjoyed the privacy of the 2nd Floor Master Bedroom while the rest of the family spread out on the 1st and lower levels. The house is very well maintained and was immaculate when we arrived. We couldn't have been happier with the property. One thing to point out is the access road to get to the cabin. It was mostly snow covered when we got there. 4WD should seriously be considered in the winter months. We ended up leaving some vehicles at the bottom of the mountain but it wasn't that much of an inconvenience. We would definetly recommend this property.

Fabulous CLEAN mountain home
We had a family Thanksgiving here - fully stocked kitchen - we brought so much that we didn’t need just because we were not sure - super clean - comfy beds! The only thing I’d warn about is if you have someone who goes to bed before the rest - it may be noisy especially in the bunk room from the noise upstairs. Minor issue for us but could be a problem for others - maybe bring a sound machine. Everything else was so wonderful! We had 6 adults, 3 adult kids, and 1 10yo. Everyone was able to enjoy the ping pong table, the games, and plenty of room to relax and be together but also spread out. Nice touches with everything being labeled, and easy to locate. Excellent communication with the realty company. Would absolutely stay again!

What a view...
The property was as pictured - the rooms were comfortable, clean and the condo well maintained. Man, the sunsets though, no words to describe that beauty. We sat on the deck, with the fire going, watching the sun sink behind the mountains and create the most amazing painted sky. It was worth the drive up just for that experience. Management was super responsive with instructions beforehand and even during my stay when I had questions. Overall, a really nice experience.
