"This is one of our very favourite vrbo properties to visit. We are a "multiple return" guest. Pros: close to multiple boat ramps, lots of space to spread out, particularly if it's one or two couples. It's close to Georgetown and Mclellanville. The two upstairs bedrooms each have an ensuite. The air conditioner works well. The fridge is full size. There's a fire pit, and porches (plural) to sit on. It's quiet. It's got a full kitchen (gas stove). The internet is excellent. This is a great place to disconnect. (If you have verizon you will have problems - but hey we're on vacation and we don't want to be bothered). There's trees for shade. There's also a screened in back porch (we've never used it, but it's nice to have if you want to sit out). There's ample hot water.Cons: you need to book a 3 night stay (although you will not regret booking for 3 nights, we wish we could move there permanently)!!! It's buggy (mosquitos, but if you bring bug spray you'll be fine). I don't really consider these "cons" but they are something you should be aware of.Paul the caretaker has always come to greet us. He's very knowledgeable about the property and is there if you need anything. We've always had a great time. It's the perfect blend of close to everything, but far enough that we have peace. If anything we wish we would have found this place (to buy), lol, it's EXACTLY what you'd want in a cabin. Water, peaceful and close to amenities. We love our stays here!!!"
