I'm going to start with the one (and only!) suggestion I have for the property for improvement. Everything about our unit was great, except for the walk-in shower in the master bathroom. The shower head was of the older style water-saver type - very little water pressure and a low volume of water. In that big shower booth, that shower head did not produce enough water to make it a comfortable experience. The parts of you that are in the weak hot water stream can stay warm, while the rest of you is freezing because you're standing in the cool air. Also, someone with thick or long hair will have a hard time washing their hair in that shower. There are modern water-saver shower heads that do way better than this one did. Otherwise, the unit was wonderful and we had an enjoyable stay. Kitchen was modern and stocked with all the basics. Advice: If you're a coffee drinker, there is a full-size drip coffeemaker in the unit, but the provided coffee and supplies are basic hotel stuff. Recommend bringing your own coffee if you savor your cuppa. Tea drinkers will want to bring their own tea and a kettle. There is a grocery store about three miles down the road that should have anything you need. Building is in a quiet area - trains do rumble through occasionally, but they're quick. You can also faintly hear Busch Gardens. It's about a 10 minute drive to Busch, and 10-15 minute drive to the Colonial Williamsburg Visitor Center. 5 stars, highly recommend! Thank you Parkside!

We didn't walk much, but the location was excellent

On our way to the hotel, we received a call that our room would not be ready on time. Upon arriving, we had assumed parking would be free as the hotel is over a parking garage, but were told that we would have to use the parking lot across the street (23$/8hr) or the valet service who owned the garage(51$). We ending up using the valet service and the gentleman from PNC were extremely friendly and helpful. The front desk staff were less friendly. Everyone seemed in a rush to get things done. One gentleman who was friendly, seemed to be trying harder than the others, but overwhelmed as they kept leaving him alone. We were not able to enjoy our stay fully due to our room not being ready when we arrived. We were hoping to use the hot tub, which was the main reason we chose the Hilton. Unfortunately, we had to make the decision to skip it. Outside of service and confusion, the hotel was beautiful and clean. Shaun helped us check out and also helped us find some things we needed the next morning. His smiling face and friendly disposition brightened up what would have ended up being a completely disappointing stay.
