I had a great and wonderful stay me and my family. I will definitely come back with my family and friends. The hotel looked beautiful and smelled amazing as soon as you come in. The rooms where clean and also looked beautiful. Thank you royal palm for one of the best experiences in my life.

Magnificent Beach front property

My stay was spectacular. When I arrived to check in I was told my room would be ready in 15 minutes and they would text me. They offered to hold my bags while I waited. Within five minutes I received a text letting me know my room was ready. The room was clean, great size with an awesome view. The balconies are rather small but you can still utilize them. The resort has 5 restaurants we ate at the Grove on several occasions the selections were awesome. The resort does include the 18 % gratuity automatically so be mindful of that. The resort fee listed doesn't include taxes up front it's on your final bill. We had lunch on the beach it was delicious. The waiter was amazing. overall the location is perfect for walking down the strip. The customer service was remarkable everyone was polite and friendly! The jacuzzi and pool are great! I would definitely stay here again!!!!! Anais checked on me throughout my stay she was wonderful.

Fantastic facility!!

If you're looking for an affordable and centrally located hotel in South Beach, I would highly recommend this facility. The ocean that sits less than 30 seconds away is prestine and the staff really goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome and taken care of.

Outdated hotel. Especially the bathrooms.

Every time you take a shower the entire room gets flooded. There is nothing to stop the water from exiting the shower. Very, very annoying.

These types of showers do allow water to flow to a drain in the center of the bathroom. I do believe this is the scenario you are describing. bathroom door

All was good. The only issue that I had was the bathroom door did not close all the was. It was a sliding barn door that was not big enough for the opening. Might have just been my room. It's an easy fix. Other than that the hotel is clean and the staff was helpful and friendly. On the beach you were given 2 chairs but if you wanted an umbrella, you had to pay for it. I feel that you should be given the umbrella as well. $19 for the day. A little steep I would say. All and all I recommend this hotel.

Mitch, thank you for the feedback, we will look for the door you mentioned. The beach is public and all commerce is controlled by the city of Miami Beach with a contract to a local vendor. Love the location and overall atmosphere of the resort!! Only thing I didn't like was there's no microwave in the room. Which isn't a huge deal so with that being said the resort is pretty dope. I definitely got my money's worth!

My deposit was kept!!!

My vaction was broked throught exedia..hotel never indicated this was a non smokeing hotel however out of the 4 girls we had one smoker who left her packed of cigaretts on the table and automatically assume we smoked in the room!!! One of concierge lied to me and said they have a smoke sensor thats a lie because no one smoked..spoke to someone else who said housekeeping saw a cigaretts not cool never again!!!

Anonymous, thank you for your review. On Expedia, every room type, under more details - states Non Smoking. We only charge rooms that smell like smoke. Many people believe they can smoke on the balcony, they can't, osmosis still causes the room to smell like smoke. Many guest come to the property because we are non-smoking and any hint of smoke causes immediate dissatisfaction. I can't research your issue because this review is under anonymous.
