This area is the heart of Miradero for visitors, offering easy access to the ocean and the town's primary points of interest. The main promenade, lined with palm trees, provides a pleasant walk with views of the Caribbean Sea, and you'll find a selection of local eateries and shops interspersed along the beachfront road leading to the lighthouse.

For couples, this coastal area is ideal due to its romantic ocean views and relaxed atmosphere. You can enjoy evening strolls along the promenade, dine at waterfront restaurants, and easily access activities like snorkeling or simply relaxing on the beach. The best time to go to Miradero is during the dry season, which runs from December to May, offering the most consistently pleasant weather for your visit.

During these months, you'll experience less rainfall and comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from the mid-70s to mid-80s Fahrenheit. This period is ideal for enjoying Miradero's outdoor activities, such as exploring the nearby El Yunque National Forest, lounging on the beaches, or visiting the bioluminescent bay. The lower humidity makes sightseeing and dining outdoors much more enjoyable.

While December through May is generally considered peak season, the shoulder months of May and early December can offer a good balance of excellent weather and fewer crowds.
